I'm a bit confused: I really like the 'glitched' idea for your digital set as a way of expressing the modes of your artist, but I'm not sure from your presentation what the relationship is between the 'non-glitched' set and the Bacon-ed version? Is it that you're intending to model everything one way and then purposefully corrupt your digital set in Maya? That would certainly be a fascinating method. I've looked at your presentation a few times and can't quite see what your intention is - can you clarify?
The one thing I will say in design terms is just keep looking at actual reference for the design of your various buildings; at the moment, your church is looking like something very simple and stylised, while the supporting buildings are Classical. Make sure you're not just blasting out a generic cathedral without giving its design enough consideration.
I know you've worked hard to arrive at this resolution - and as I said, I like very much the glitches version - I'm just keen to understand your intentions in terms of modelling, texturing and lighting your glitches set? Could you leave a comment to explain - and apologies if I'm being stupid!
Hi Phil, You're not being stupid, sorry for not clarifying it! Yes, I'm intending to do the glitches version, and I only put the normal one in to show what it would look like before. Thanks for the feedback, I will keep working on them and looking at more real references! :)
